As you drive up the tree lined drive, you are welcomed by beautifully artistic figures carved into the trunk of still living trees. Glance beyond, and you are greeted by the scenic surrounds of Alpine Forest and the city of Tehachapi. If you like to go camping or travel around in your RV, Brite Lake is a nice, peaceful place to spend a night or two. Located just about 15 minutes from Highway 58 in Tehachapi makes Brite Lake a convenient place to stop and relax for the day as well.
Brite Lake holds its annual fishing derby on Memorial weekend each year and offers a cash prize to the person that is lucky enough to snag the tagged fish. The event draws hundreds of people from the Tehachapi area and surrounding communities. There is something fun for everyone, even if you don't plan to compete in the fishing tournament; there are vendors and delicious foods as well as activities for the kids. It's an all around great time!

• Boats -$5.00 per boat per day
• RV / Trailer Overnight usage - $30-$40 per night depending on space
• Tent Camping - $20 per night
