I just had my first personal experience with Tehachapi Hospital. I had been feeling under the weather for a while, but found myself in severe pain. (10 out of 10 on the pain scale) I was taken to the Hospital and from the moment I was admitted I felt like everyone on staff really cared about how I was doing. I was in the ER for about 4 or so hours before being moved to a hospital that could perform my surgery right away and during that time, I was checked on constantly to monitor my pain level and see if I needed anything.
My only complaint is that the hospital is small and cramped. When you're in pain, it's not fun hearing people laughing and joking in the next area. I had to be taken outside in the freezing cold for a CAT scan and that as rough too, but I have to say that the kindness of the nurses really make the weaknesses seem small. I thought my ER doctor (Dr. Moses) was helpful and friendly as well. He correctly diagnosed my ailment and got me headed in the right direction quickly. I'm now on the road to recovery :)
